Shearman & Sterling Partner Masahisa Ikeda Named in the Asian Legal Business Hot 100 for Second Year Running

Tokyo, December 4, 2007--Shearman & Sterling Tokyo partner Masahisa Ikeda has been listed in the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Hot 100, a list of the hottest lawyers of 2007.
Mr. Ikeda is listed as a "Rainmaker" and under the heading "Why Hot?," ALB lists Mr. Ikeda's work on the Skylark MBO, the Aeon offering and the Toyota Motor Corp offering. This is Mr. Ikeda's second inclusion in the Hot 100 and cements his position as one of the region's leading lawyers.
